What is the volume of the bundt pan?
 4.
What is the volume of the mini loaf? The dimensions of the mini loaf pan are 7 in * 2.5 in * 1.8 in. The pan should be filled 3/4 full.
 5.
How do I convert from space measurement to weight measurements? How can you convert from cubic inches to ounces and ounces to cups?
Teacher noteStudents need to remember that the batter fills the bundt pan only half way to leave room for the cake to rise. This means there is about 6 cups of batter.
The mini loaf holds 2 cups when filled to the top. To fill the pan 3/4 full, students need to multiply 2 by 3/4 to get 1 1/2 cups per loaf.
They then need to divide 6 by 1 1/2 to get 4 loaves.
