1. Play the first video. Ask students what they see.

2. Discuss finding the maximum volume.

3. Play it again and ask them to yell out when they think the maximum volume is reached.

4. Have students make different boxes by cutting the squares out of the corners.

5. Develop a model for the volume of the box in terms of the unknown height.
